FAQs

How long can I expect to be in therapy?

There is no one-size-fits-all timeline, but therapy is never meant to be permanent. From day one, our goal is to build your internal resilience so you eventually don’t need the therapy room anymore. We will evaluate your progress together every step of the way.

Do you take insurance?

I do not take insurance although I can provide a superbill for you to submit to private insurance. This does not guarantee reimbursement. If you are struggling with finances please reach out. I am willing to support on a sliding scale when there is a high need.

Do you offer virtual or in person sessions?

I am available for in person and virtual sessions. In person is greatly preferred as it can be more organic and beneficial to the process of developing a working relationship. My office is located in Laguna Niguel near Crown Valley Parkway and Cabot Road. Please connect with me to identify how best to approach your therapy.

No Surprises Act Notification and Good Faith Estimate Notification:

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions and more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
